In ensuring we meet our target, RIAT nurtured 10,000 tree seedlings, the event of the day was marked by several dignitaries in attendance from various Government and Non-Government Organizations, with the Chief Guest being the County Commissioner, Kisumu. RIAT donated seedlings to the local community, Schools and Matili Technical College. And in the spirit to ensure we increase tree coverage on the vast acreage owned by RIAT, we are committed to producing 30,000 more seedlings with each member of staff planting 30 trees each and 1 tree each by trainee.
