The Department is one out of the many departments in Riat College. The department was conceived in 1994 where it enrolled its pioneer students in craft certificate in food and beverage production, sales, and service. Later on, diploma courses in F & B came into force in 1998, then Artisan in F & B sales and service.

The department has grown with those three levels, and up to now it has the best facilities and resources which have made our students achieve the best training and can join the job market anywhere in the world, and they are well appreciated as we always get the reports from the organizations where they get placements.

The course provides services, and therefore the students are trained to meet the guest’s expectations. The Course requires the trainees to indulge in practicals as well as theory. The courses are offered in three levels; Artisan, Craft certificate, and Diploma.

All programs have course works, continuous assessment tests, and KNEC exams after every module before achieving the final KNEC certificate after completion.
